The physical internet as a new supply chain paradigm: a systematic literature review and a comprehensive framework

What is it about?

The Physical Internet is a novel approach to create effective, efficient, and sustainable supply chains. In this paper we conduct a structured literature review that summarizes the Physical Internet literature. Furthermore, we present a layered framework that shows the important themes that guide the Physical Internet as well as various facilitators and barriers that exist on each layer.
