What is it about?

Digital proctoring systems have been increasingly used by higher education institutions (HEI) worldwide. This paper conducted a systematic review of the literature. The findings described the different aspects the current practice of using digital proctoring in online assessments and examinations. The trend for technical improvement of the systems and the challenges for students, educators and administrations are also revealed. Multidisciplinary work should be undertaken to address the challenges and ensure the sustainable development of digital proctoring practice in HEI.
