What is it about?

This paper analyzes the relationship between the rewards that the companies of the Rioja wine sector in Spain provide to their employees to their training and the category and functions of the employees. There are no statistically significant differences in these relationships. Companies do not discriminate by class of employees to receive training.

Learning organizations have emerged as companies that manage the culture of learning and development. This work proposes a learning culture concept and presents an example that illustrates traits that identify a culture of learning.

Perspectives

This work opens the field of research to point out other types of traits that identify a culture of learning and which singles out a learning organization.
