What is it about?
Innovative approaches to curriculum design which meet the needs of learners and industry are likely to be insufficient of themselves to sustain a programme. In addition to pedagogic innovation, academic tutors must be prepared to be fulfill institutional requirements, especially in terms of student recruitment and quality assurance. Delivery of such programmes therefore requires skill sets to include effective leadership, commercial acumen, flexibility and an inclusive approach to team working.
