What is it about?
Researchers have argued that Knowledge Management (KM) can help libraries become more efficient and effective, and help bring innovation in its services for patrons. This study found that less than 4 percent of all research published in the top Library and Information Science (LIS) journals since the year 2000 was related to KM. Thus, despite the synergies, KM is yet to find a broader place within other LIS concerns.
