What is it about?

GTE,a social enterprise, provide coding and ICT skills to students on both a fully paid, and subsidised, basis. GTE aims to create the next generation of critical thinkers and problem solvers in the technology space. GTE operates in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar (Tanzania, East Africa), and in Malawi, in Southern Africa. The case highlights the challenges facing the founder as he decides on a strategic way forward for GTE. The founder must navigate a complex institutional environment, human capital shortages, and growing competition.
