Particular communities have historically been disproportionately affected by hazards, vulnerability, and disasters. Often, the communities sustaining these disproportionate effects are not involved in the production of knowledge about and planning for their communities. This project is a collaboration with an LGBTQ+ community-based organization in the San Francisco Bay Area to address gaps in knowledge and practice concerning how they are affected by hazards, vulnerability, and disasters.
