What is it about?

This study introduces a new way of using grounded theory, a qualitative research method, to better understand how culture, technology, and organisational practices interact in global companies. The framework we developed shows how researchers can study complex situations in which business strategy, information systems, and cultural differences intersect. By applying the framework to a real-world case, we show how national culture can influence the way companies coordinate their business and technology decisions. The approach helps researchers and practitioners uncover insights that traditional, step-by-step methods might miss. This framework supports more flexible, culturally aware, and practical research into digital transformation and organisational change.
