What is it about?

The present study redefines relationship banking (RB) within the context of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), revealing three distinct levels of RB. While focusing on the New Zealand banking sector as a case study, it explores how banks classify and handle SMEs, proposing a taxonomy for customized relationship models. The study provides practical insights for banks to better interact with SMEs, thereby fostering their growth and success.
