Information in practice and the building of a “Learning Alliance” in an Irish community

What is it about?

Though not easy to combine, information and practice can be used to explore collaboration and mutual learning within potential or existing communities of practice. Focused on the educational project of an Irish ecovillage, this study shows how underlying dynamics of meaning and power can affect information sharing and cooperation when it comes to identifying and achieving common goals.
