What is it about?
Antenatal care (ANC) and modern contraceptive use have been identified by the Government of Ghana as critical areas for socioeconomic development. However, differentials in household wealth have proven to be a bane to this development. This study shows that wealth is very critical for healthservice utilization given that the WHO has also reviewed upwards the minimum contacts for ANC from four to eight. The findings further show the heterogeneity effect in healthcare utilisation.
