What is it about?
This article delves into how project practitioners can rethink the creation of social outcomes for people affected by their building and engineering activities. I take an objective point of view on social value, social procurement, and social reporting in order to demonstrate how helpful it can be to treat social value as a measurable project target, and how that, in turn, helps everyone better understand what such projects are intended to provide.
