What is it about?

Over the past few years, several scholars have focused on green innovation in the Agri-food Industry. In line with this research stream, the purpose of this paper is to cover some unexplored areas regarding if stakeholder pressures have a positive influence on family engagement to implement green innovation practices and socially responsible practices. Latin American Family Firms from Agri-food Industry, have a positive influence from internal / external stakeholder to implement green innovation initiatives and socially responsible practices, that result in short / long term business practices

Why is it important?

This study aims to provide a more complete picture of green innovation in FB from a perspective of internal and external stakeholders, as well as contextualize these decisions in a region with a heterogeneous institutional environment such as in Latin American countries

Perspectives

We identify key concepts for studying green innovation in family firms and develop a conceptual framework that links them together. We develop our research based on eight FB that operate in the agri-food industry from five countries in Latin America.
