What is it about?
Sulfobenzene ligands are very interesting in the constructions of coordination polymers. In this work we obtained a 3D coordination polymer with 5-sulfobenzene-1,3-dicarboxylate and Zn(II) and potassium ion. The K interaction was very important to formation of 3D network. K—O interactions form a two-dimensional network, which is uninodal 4-connected and can be classified as sql/Shubnikov. The layers are connected by Zn2+ ions coordinated to the SIP linker, forming a three-dimensional network. This net is a trinodal (3,5,6)-connected system with point symbol (3.4^4.5^2.6^2.7^3.8^3).(3.4^4.5^2.6^2.7).(3.7^2).

Why is it important?
The topological analysis of 2D and 3D network can be usufel in classification and assocition of the coordination polymer and some important property.
