What is it about?
Nowadays, the lithium-ion battery (LIB) has become part of our daily life. The lithium-ion migration between cathode and anode is well understood but not its complete picture. Here we add the information on the lithium-ion pathway inside the Li3PO4 crystal structure.

Why is it important?
Different methods for analyzing neutron diffraction data are compared so that a comprehensive understanding of the lithium-ion diffusion pathways in the matter is further improved.
