What is it about?
The reaction between 2-amino-6-nitrobenzothiazole and sulfosalicylic acid produces an organic salt. The cation is formed when 2-amino-6-nitrobenzothiazole is protonated at the intracyclic nitrogen, while the anion is formed when sulfosalicylic acid loses a hydrogen atom from its sulfonic acid group.
