What is it about?

Industrial alloys are mostly based on solid solution structures, and their typical characteristic atomic chemical short-range-order is the core hub connecting composition-organization-properties. In this work, the Cowley short-range-order parameter α is used in combination with the cluster-plus-glue-atoms model to obtain chemical units in alloys containing compositional and atomic structure information, whose compositions coincide with the compositions of commonly used industrial alloys. In this way, the short-range-order structure and alloy composition relationship is initially established.
