What is it about?

Why are Ceroglossus beetles so colorful. A potential explanation is that they have radiated phenotypically as a consequence of Mullerian mimicry, a type of phenotypic convergence between aposematic species driven by predators. In this work we test this hypothesis by analyzing species relationships and quantifying color similarity between co-distributed species.
