We found this eyelid condition associated with dry eye to be quite common in Singapore Malays.

Why is it important?
We found angiotensin blockers to be associated with meibomitis. Doctors should be aware of this and ask for history of various types of anti hypertensive medications when a patient presents with eyelid disease.
Perspectives
More research needs to be focused on angiotensin receptor blockers and inflammation, considering that these are very commonly used nowadays.
