What is it about?
In this reflective account, I described different challenges that I experienced as a nurse educator and outlined the strategies that helped me tackle those challenges. I have suggested some useful tips for nurses who intend to become educators.

Why is it important?
Teaching nursing students is challenging and requires the use of creative teaching and learning strategies. Some of the strategies outlined in this paper, may help educators to make their teaching session more interactive.
Perspectives
Writing this reflection was truly an eye opener and I realized the importance of reflective practice in nursing education and practice. Therefore, I would like to share my account with all of you.
