What is it about?
The body is our ultimate place of living although we do not elaborate much on what it means, phenomenologically, to be irrevocably entrapped inside. Our research shows how this confined condition leads to utopian dreams that are then enacted on the body. We highlight how such enacted utopias alter the body and so make it "another place" or a heterotopia in Michel Foucault's sense.

Why is it important?
While previous research mostly envisions the body as a socialized object, we contribute by considering its spatial dimension, utopian nature and possible recreation as another place.
