What is it about?
Definite diagnosis of a spleen abscess caused by Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm) in a 25-year-old woman with long-lasting abdominal pain. Results of stool examination, abdominal ultrasound, spleen tissue histology and PET/CT scan are reported and discussed.
