What is it about?
The study seeks to evaluate the factors that contribute to the vaccination of children and determine the vaccination status of children in a rural community in Nigeria. Factors such as the educational status, religious status of caregivers and the behavioral disposition of healthcare providers were significantly associated with completing the vaccination of children

Why is it important?
The study is important because it was able to identify key determinants of the vaccine-seeking behavior of caregivers in rural settings of developing countries, as well as identify key target areas for public health intervention. The study also provided vital recommendations for public health action.
