As our understanding of the impact of childhood maltreatment increases, it has been important to examine types of maltreatment beyond sexual abuse. Therefore, the current study examined poly-victimization--how a person experiences multiple types of childhood maltreatment, including physical abuse, witnessing violence, and bullying.
