What is it about?

Study evaluated the Turnera subulate leaf effect on the coagulation cascade and its possible side effects. Results indicate significant anticoagulant activity, probably due to polyphenols. No toxicity was observed in vitro and in vivo. T. subulata leaf active compounds exhibit therapeutic potential required to develop phytotherapeutic formulations to assist conventional anticoagulants in clinical treatments.
