Why is it important?
Unfortunately, to date, no studies investigating the effects of hormone replacement therapy combined with acupuncture treatment are available. The results of the present case report clearly demonstrate an effective combination of I Ching Balance Acupuncture treatment with hormone replacement therapy in a female who underwent ovariectomy.
Perspectives
Larger-scales studies are warranted to investigate the effects of ICBA combined with allopathic treatment.
