What is it about?
A commercial PDLC was characterized under DC and AC driving voltage for its basic optical and electrical properties. Based on the results, an electronic driving circuit compatible for supply voltage of DC 5 V normally used in microcontroller system was designed and tested to drive the PDLC. The PDLC sheet and the driving circuit, were then combined with other sensors and actuators to form a miniature smarthome demonstration unit
