What is it about?

The Edinburgh Handedness Inventory is the most used inventory to evaluate handedness. We have shown that this inventory is adequate for the Portuguese population. We also have shown that handedness is potentially sensitive to cultural influences.

Why is it important?

The Edinburgh Handedness Inventory is an essential element of the neuropsychological assessment. However, the information about how this measure functions in a Portuguese population was lacking.

Perspectives

Writing this paper was an occasion to sweat with hard-working co-authors, and an opportunity to contribute to the collection of neuropsychological instruments validated in my country.
