What is it about?

DRESS syndrome is syndrome related to reactions caused by intake of various drugs. The clinical features of this syndrome can be differentiated from other drug reactions based on criteria.

Why is it important?

As the mortality in this syndrome is high (approximately 10%), clinicians should suspect the possible occurrence of this syndrome at the earliest to save the patient by withdrawing the suspected medication and/or by taking other measures.

Perspectives

I hope this article will help the reader to update them about DRESS syndrome as we have included maximum possible case reports of different drugs causing the reactions. We have added some unusual presentation of this syndrome along different criteria to diagnose and best available management plans.
