What is it about?
Here we investigated the predictive relationship between mental imagery and working memory, using consecutive interpreting as the output measure. Do people with better imagery also perform better on a language task with very heavy working memory demands? It depends on what you mean by "better". Those who were better at control/manipulation (but not necessarily with more vivid mental images) produced more accurate interpretations, especially when the source speech was abstract.
