What is it about?
Here we investigated the predictive relationship between mental imagery and working memory, using consecutive interpreting as the output measure. Do people with better imagery also perform better on a language task that requires a lot of working memory? That depends on what you mean by "better". Those who were better at control/manipulation (but not necessarily with more vivid mental imagery) produced more accurate interpretations, especially when the source language was abstract.
