Why is it important?

The tool ensures that total dietary exposures can be considered for patients consuming sweeteners. The Simplified Exposure Tool in Medical Nutrition (SETIM) is a reliable and consistent for assessing sweetener usage levels in FSMPs and helps to minimize regular exposure above the ADI in patients.

Perspectives
