What is it about?
It is true that people in West Africa used to live in warm areas; however, they are not protected from the harmful effect of heat. Poor people are more likely to suffer from its consequences. This study assesses the social vulnerability of the urban population to the harmful effect of heat.

Our study showed that vulnerability to heat concerns more low standing areas. Urban people experience heat-related diseases.
