This study looked at 3 sites, with different styles of air-raid shelter (Stanton, destroyed and public) and what the geophysical signature was of each of them.

Why is it important?

There are many relict air-raid shelters left around the UK in various states of preservation, so it is important to know how to find them and indeed record them

Perspectives

Personally was an interesting and little investigated topic on 'The Home Front' as most studies look at past conflict battlefield sites, whereas this was from the civilian population perspective
