Investigating the effect of truck loads, and the distance between vehicles, on fatigue life of a steel bridge.

Why is it important?
In all urban areas the volume of traffic is increasing beyond the expected design load when these bridges were made. Moreover, the heavy traffic load needs to be modeled as a random process. This study is investigating the serviceability of these bridges under random vehicle loads especially truck loads.
