Transformer tap position estimation

What is it about?

Parameter estimation is a crucial part of modern power system management, and power transformer is one of the most important part of it. This paper is about the power transformer tap position estimation. The proposed method is based on the Hypothesis Testing, as an efficient statistical test, by use of Weighted Least Squares method.

Our method achieves the estimation progress in less steps comparing with the other methods. It has also no calculation convergence problem like the recursive approaches.
