What is it about?
While nuclear elimination was regarded as utopian during the Cold War, the humanitarian approach with respect to nuclear disarmament is pushing very hard (since 2010). And rather successfully. This article explains how the dominating narrative is switching from nuclear deterrence towards nuclear elimination. It also explains what the differences are between the classic arms control approach and the current humanitarian initiative.
