Why is it important?

In the era of global effort to tackle the non-communicable diseases, we see the importance of assessing the level of knowledge of future pharmacists to get some insights on their readiness and competency level to play a role in this effort.

Perspectives

In this work, we did assess the knowledge of future pharmacists regarding the risk factors of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer and asthma. I see this work as important to highlight the gaps needed to be filled to integrate young pharmacists in the fight against the increasing trend in NCDs incidence.
