What is it about?
We measure changes in housing quality across the 11 EU post-communist countries with the aim of finding similar country-clusters. We advance a critical-realist model in which we include measurements of 'underlying structures' (e.g. the economy, housing markets and policies, demographic trends and welfare) and of peoples' actual experiences (e.g. overcrowding, utility provision, affordability, and inequality).
