‘One of the good guys’: sperm donor masculinity and the falling Danish sperm count discourse

What is it about?

I talked to donors at a Danish sperm bank about their experiences and this article discusses the way they described sperm quality. Men's masculinity is often associated with being fertile and potent. Donors talked about hearing about the sperm count falling, both globally and in Denmark, and connected their success as donors with images of successful masculinity.
