Why is it important?

As a young phenomenon, democracy is in need of protection and of reinforcements which will enable the continuation of its development, since democracy is not flaw-proof and not all of its components are perfect. On the contrary, and it is our duty to be aware of any ailments challenging democracy, and to try to find the proper cures. We have a duty to try to create supervising and controlling systems which will enable the protection and the fortification of democracy.
