Why is it important?
Most often it is assumed and argued that health care provisioning is a noble profession and no biases work in rendering the service. This myth is decoded in the present paper.
Perspectives
Social identity based on caste and religion is so deep rooted in Indian psyche that it affects all aspect of everyday life. Health care is not devoid of it. Therefore the present paper highlights the issues of the consequent discrimination and probable remedies to it.
