What is it about?
This paper explains why sustainable development and hospitality (businesses) cannot but affect each other. In fact, this paper argues that based on the fact that hospitality businesses are intertwined with local communities, their contribution to sustainable development of our societies could, potentially, be significant. The conclusion of this paper is that this industry is a most interesting 'playground' for researchers and practitioners interested in contributing to sustainable development.
