The Bad Sobernheim Stress Questionnaire is a super specific tool to evaluate the brace or deformity related stress level of adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis.

Why is it important?
The most frequently used orthosis for non-operative treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis in Iran is the Milwaukee brace. Despite the effectiveness of this orthosis, there are reports about difficulties related to their application which may negatively affect the patient’s quality of life. In terms of appearance, teenaged patients do not easily accept this orthosis and report a level of stress while wearing the brace.
