Since different reports have resulted in this area, it is important to systematically review the available literature.

Perspectives

While COVID-19 can infect the ocular surface (presence of receptors, etc), the ease of infection through the ocular surface and nasolacrimal duct, compared to oral or nasal inhalation, remains unknown.
