Are metal and metal oxides nanoparticles a nano or mega risk for soil microbial communities?

What is it about?

In this review, we summarize the knowledge from the last five years (2013–2018) about the effects of metal and metal oxide nanopartices in soil, with an emphasis on microorganisms and their biological processes. The main entry routes and fate of nanoparticles into the soil are also discussed.
