What is it about?
Changes in landscape due to human and natural factors have substantial effects on the nutrients in soils and in plants, as well as the plants species composition and richness. These factors differ based on different land use types. Some minerals/elements tend to concentrate more in a particular land use in time when compared to other minerals. This scenario is also applicable to the plant species. A well knowledge of the interactions between land use change-soil-plants is essential in the sustainable management of either the grasslands or the forests ecosystems.
