What is it about?
Sellar and supra sellar cystic peripheral enhancing lesions are usually craniopharyngiomas , pituitary tumors or cystic gliomas or rarely pyogenic abscess. Tubercular abscess is not conventional differential diagnosis.

Why is it important?
In tubercular endemic regions or in immune compromised patients we should consider tubercular abscess as a differential diagnosis for pituitary region lesions.
