What is it about?

Invasive plant species are a threat to native wildlife. They change a lot of aspects of the ecosystems such as vegetation structures e.g where there was thick closed canopy forests they open up threatening the existence of the plants and animals adapted to the latter. The invasive plants therefore need to be controlled. To control them however there is need to understand their biology and interaction with environmental factors such as soil. This paper therefore is about the relationship between an invasive plant, Vernonanthura phosphorica and factors such as Carbon, phosphorus, Nitrogen concentrations in soil and other factors.
