What is it about?
Description of the concept and the validation of a rather simple tool for measurement of the developement of non-cognitive skills for students in danish lower secondary schools for educational/pedagogical purposes.

Why is it important?
Outcome of schools is often described as development of cognitive skills (reading and math ability) - but in a broader perspective this is not what you most need to have a succesfull life. Abundant research points out that social- and personal skills are much more important. If the school should advance these skills the teachers should have access to validated tools suitable for measurement of developement in skills/attitudes like motivation, self-efficacy, perseverance, resilience, creativity, cooperation etc.
