How should we evaluate the stained color concretely? To answer the question correctly, we proposed the construction of color space using the data obtained by the measurement of a color meter.

Why is it important?
Now SIAA Japan and we will establish ISO for Biofilm Quantification From Practical Viewpoints. It uses staining of products with crystal violet. From the background, how to evaluate violet colors by staining is very important. In this paper, the authors showed a practical possibility.
Perspectives
We could show the possibility of quantification for biofilm formation and growth. However, we would like to show in the future that the color tone would reflect the change of components in biofilms
